Police say two cars slammed into a SEPTA trolley in Southwest Philadelphia early Saturday morning.

Police say two cars slammed into a SEPTA trolley in Southwest Philadelphia early Saturday morning.

The crash happened around 4:30 a.m. on the 5400 block of Lindbergh Boulevard.

According to police, a car rear-ended the trolley while it was stopped at a red light.

They say then another car hit both the first car and the trolley.

Both drivers, a 47-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman are in the hospital with non life-threatening injures.

There were no other injuries.

So far, there is no word on whether the drivers will face any charges or what caused the drivers to hit the trolley.
