Police are investigating the discovery of two bodies in a wooded area in Cape May County, New Jersey.

MIDDLE TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Investigators have identified the man and woman who were found dead in a wooded area of Cape May County on Wednesday.

The bodies of John Clohessy, 53, and Carrie Clohessy, 41, were discovered around 9:10 a.m. in a homeless camp along Old Rio Grande Avenue in Middle Township.

Authorities say two people were walking on a back trail when they stumbled upon the bodies.

On Friday, the prosecutor's office added there was no signs of trauma to either body.

Final results are pending toxicology tests.
