Police say two people were injured after two vehicles collided in the Philadelphia's Bridesburg section late Thursday night.

Police say two people were injured after two vehicles collided in the Philadelphia's Bridesburg section late Thursday night.

The accident happened around 11:30 p.m. on Tacony Street near Bridge Street.

A car and a pickup truck collided at the intersection, sending both of them up against a concrete barrier under Interstate-95.

Both drivers were injured.

They suffered head, neck and back injuries.

Both were transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition.

So far, there is no word on what sparked the collision.
