2 injured in head-on crash in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two people were injured and hospitalized after a two vehicle head-on crash in North Philadelphia early Saturday morning.

The accident happened just after midnight on the 400 block of West Lehigh Avenue.

Medics took both drivers to Temple University Hospital for treatment.

One driver is in critical condition and the other is stable.

There is no word on why the two cars collided.

The accident is under investigation.

The victims have not been identified.
