Two officers were hurt in a crash in Germantown.

GERMANTOWN (WPVI) -- Two 14th district officers are on the mend after their cruiser collided with another vehicle in Philadelphia's Germantown section.

It happened around 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at 21st and Laveer streets.

Police say the officers were on a routine patrol when a Chevy Impala ran a stop sign and struck the cruiser.

One officer suffered a cut to the forehead. The other experienced pain in his knee.

Both were taken to Einstein Medical Center for treatment.

The occupants of the Impala were also transported to Einstein for evaluation.

Police say the driver was not impaired and it appears to be just an accident.
