2 suspects sought in deadly shooting in West Philadelphia

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are searching for two suspects in a deadly shooting in West Philadelphia.

It happened after 12:00 a.m. Monday.

Police say a 35-year-old man was shot in the head at 60th Street and Girard Avenue.

Medics took the man to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Two men were seen fleeing the area after the shots were fired.

There was no immediate word what led to the shooting.

There have been no arrests.
