2 suspects wanted in Papa John's Pizza armed robbery

ABINGTON TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Police are seeking the public's help in locating two suspects wanted in connected with a robbery of Papa John's Pizza in Abington Township.

The incident occurred around 11:15 a.m. on Sunday in the 1800 block of Easton Road in the Willow Grove section of Abington.

Police said a man entered the store and asked about buying a pizza. Upon being quoted a price, the man pointed a handgun at the employee and ordered her to the rear of the store where a second suspect gained entry to the store.

The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash as well as the cell phones of three employees who were locked in an upstairs storage area.

A fourth employee was placed in the walk-in freezer.

No shots were fired and no injuries were reported.

The first suspect is described as a black male, 20 to 30 years of age, wearing a dark-hooded sweatshirt. The second suspect is described as a black male, tall with a thin build, wearing a dark "bubble coat" or sweatshirt.
