Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with allegedly stealing a car owned by Wilmington's mayor.

WILMINGTON (WPVI) -- Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with allegedly stealing a car owned by Wilmington's mayor.

Around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dennis Williams' 2004 Chevrolet Blazer was stolen from the 3400 block of North Madison Street.

Police tracked down the car minutes later.

The 17-year-old driver tried to run off, but was apprehended.

A 15-year-old passenger was also arrested.
