2 teens hospitalized after shooting in West Oak Lane

WEST OAK LANE (WPVI) -- Two teens are in the hospital after a double shooting in Philadelphia's West Oak Lane section.

The shooting happened around 11:00 p.m. Thursday on the 7900 block of Temple Road.

Police say two 19-year-olds were shot by two suspects who fled the scene and remain at large.

After the shooting, one of the victims ran into his mother's house.

Detectives found the second victim in a bullet-riddled Honda in the 2600 block of Cheltenham Avenue.

They believe that victim drove there while wounded.

When investigators checked the vehicle's registration, they determined it had been stolen.

Police say the driver will face theft-related charges once he recovers from his gunshot wounds.
