2 teens struck on Roosevelt Boulevard in Mayfair

MAYFAIR (WPVI) -- Two teen girls were struck by a car along Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia's Mayfair section.

It happened around 10:00 p.m. Sunday in the southbound inner lanes near Tyson Avenue.

Police say the driver of a white Honda with tinted windows struck the pedestrians.

The driver originally kept going but later returned to the scene.

The victims, believed to be ages 15 and 18, was taken to Aria-Torresdale Hospital.

Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Police are investigating.
