New 'convertible jorts' can be yours... for up to $500

Some people are saying the latest type of jeans goes too far.

First it was "jindows" or jeans with knee windows for $90 dollars, then it was fake dirty denim for $425 bucks.

But that's nothing compared to this detachable design.

"Convertible Jorts" can be worn as jeans with large open sections along the thighs. You can zip the lower part off to turn them into jean shorts.

They are the work of design house Opening Ceremony and will also set you back anywhere from $425 to about $500 bucks.

These are certainly not your mama's jeans!
