Community outreach vehicle

BLACKWOOD, N.J. (WPVI) -- In an effort to build trust with the community, the Gloucester Township Police Department in New Jersey is taking nearly 20 new actions and initiatives.

Among them is the new use of a new community outreach vehicle.

The 25 foot vehicle will not only serve as a social media command center and meeting room... But it will be packed with sporting equipment and games community members can use.

The vehicle will visit neighborhoods all summer long.
