Woman trapped after crash in Pike Creek, Delaware

PIKE CREEK, Del. (WPVI) -- A woman was trapped in her car after a crash on Tuesday morning in Pike Creek, Delaware.

It happened just before 11 a.m. on Old Coach Road at Creeks Crossing.

The woman's vehicle hit a utility pole and flipped onto its side.

The 78-year-old victim was flown to Christiana Hospital.

She is hospitalized in stable condition with several broken bones.

An investigation into this crash continues.
