1 dead in collision in West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia

WEST OAK LANE (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police say one person is dead after a two vehicle crash in West Oak Lane.

It happened around 11:38 a.m. Wednesday at Ogontz and Andrews avenues.

Police say two vehicles collided at the intersection.

The impact resulted in one of the vehicle overturning and crashing into a pole.

One person, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials report a second person was injured and taken to Einstein Medical Center by medics in stable condition.
