Motorcycle passenger injured in Broad Street crash

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- A passenger on a motorcycle suffered non-life threatening injuries after a nasty crash in Center City.

The crash happened late Friday night on the 500 block of South Broad Street.

Police tell Action News that at least two dozen motorcycle riders were traveling on Broad Street when one of the motorcyclists collided with the driver of a car near Lombard Street.

The impact of the crash with the car sent the motorcycle into a second motorcyclist, knocking both riders and the passenger onto the roadway.

The injured passenger was taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital for treatment.

No word yet on if anyone will face charges.
