Victim ID'd in deadly Egg Harbor Township crash

EGG HARBOR TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Police have identified the person who was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Atlantic County.

The crash happened shortly before 7 p.m. Saturday on the Black Horse Pike near Tower Road in Egg Harbor Township.

Police say 49-year-old Jeffrey Weiss from Mays Landing was killed when a Chevy Impala crashed into the back of his vehicle.

Weiss was pronounced dead at the scene.

A passenger in Weiss vehicle and the driver of the impala were taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
