FAIRMOUNT (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating the robbery and shooting of a taxi driver in Fairmount.

The shooting occurred just after 12 p.m. Wednesday on the 2900 block of Ogden Street.

Police say a 62-year-old taxi driver was shot twice in the leg during a robbery by two men.

The suspects stole his cell phone and $400.

Police transported the driver to Hahnemann University Hospital in stable condition.

No arrests have been made.
