Delicious debate: How do you say Reese's Pieces? Alicia Vitarelli reports during Action News at 4:30 p.m. on June 21, 2017.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- No one can argue that chocolate and peanut butter are a stellar confectionery concoction, but apparently there's a not-so-sweet divide when it comes to how you pronounce the name of a popular chocolate candy.

Of course we're talking Reese's Pieces. The candy is actually named for HB Reese, thus the name Reese's. It's made right here in Pennsylvania by the Hershey Company.

Merriam Webster even recently got involved in this debate and there are two different takes on how people say it.

Reese's Pieces or Ree-sees Pee-sees? It's a delicious debate people can't seem to agree on.

We even had a little fun with a poll on our 6abc Action News Facebook Page with Reese's Pieces being the close winner.
