ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (WPVI) -- The body of the second teen swimmer who disappeared in the ocean off Atlantic City, N.J. last week has been recovered.

Police say the body of 15-year-old Ramon Quinn was found by a person walking on the beach around 9:15 a.m. Thursday, one week after he vanished in the water.

The body of the other swimmer, 16-year-old Kaliyah Hand, was found on Monday.

The two were among a group of friends who were swimming on the evening of Thursday, June 15.

Police say Hand began to get pulled from the shore by the rip current at MLK beach. That's when Quinn jumped into the water in an attempt to rescue her.

Both were pulled out to sea, began to struggle in the water, and were pulled under.

Quinn's family said he was brave and wouldn't think twice about saving a friend.

Officials say MLK beach is known as a dangerous one due to rip currents. A 10-year-old boy died in the same location five years ago.
