Man shot and killed in Kensington

KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- A 49-year-old man was shot and killed in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood.

It happened around 1:20 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Kensington Avenue and Tioga Street.

The victim was shot once in the abdomen. He was rushed to Temple University Hospital, but died from his injuries.

So far, there are no arrests.

Police have not released the victim's name.
