PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The fight over the healthcare bill continues on Capitol Hill. Meanwhile experts are weighing in, saying having health insurance could be a matter of life or death.
Several studies in the past have shown having health insurance can be a life-saver.
A new report from Harvard Medical School and the CUNY School of Urban Public Health shows, on average, people who are uninsured are less healthy and have a shorter lifespan.
Those with insurance are more likely to have their blood pressure under control, use preventative services and fewer suffer from depression.
