TACONY (WPVI) -- Several residents in the Tacony section of Philadelphia woke up Tuesday morning to find their cars and homes damaged.

Police arrived in the 6400 block of Tulip Street at 11:30 p.m. Monday after reports that a woman was smashing car and house windows.

Officers tried to subdue the suspect, leading to a scuffle.

One officer suffered a hand injury before police used a Taser to subdue the woman.

Police say she was taken into custody for observation.

There was no immediate word what led to the woman's actions.
