Children not comfortable with reading out loud had practiced in front of an audience (WPVI)

Children who aren't quite comfortable with reading out loud had the chance to practice in front of an audience Wednesday.

The Please Touch Museum invited visitors to grab a book and tell a story to a therapy dog.

The PAWS for Reading event is considered the perfect learning environment, because the animals don't make the children feel embarrassed if they stumble.

In turn, the pups get a relaxing afternoon, and a chance to steal some hugs and kisses.
