Police ID women shot and killed in truck in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police have released the identities of two women shot and killed as they sat in a car in North Philadelphia.

Police say 35-year-old Lylliana Mendoza and 19-year-old Asla Marie Torres were inside a red pickup truck in the 3000 block of Lawrence Street when each was fatally shot in the head.

Police: Women shot, killed in possible mistaken identity case

It happened early Wednesday morning.

Police have not yet made any arrests nor have they indicated what the motive may have been.
