Man shot dead in Frankford identified

FRANKFORD (WPVI) -- Police have identified the man shot and killed Tuesday night in Philadelphia's Frankford section.

Officers arrived at 9:18 p.m. to find 37-year-old Jose Reyes lying unresponsive in the 1600 block of Margaret Street.

He had been shot in the head near his home.

Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.

Police are still working to determine who shot Reyes and why.
