Family and friends remember Bucks County victim, Tom Meo

TORRESDALE (WPVI) -- A visitation was held for the family of Tom Meo, one of 4 young men killed by an admitted drug dealer in Bucks County.

"We're just all so broken, can't believe something like this would happen," family friend Anne O'Toole said.

Struggling to come to terms with reality, family and friends of Meo filed into the Burns Funeral Home in Torresdale.

A line of mourners - so long - it extended onto the sidewalk.

"I just think he was a great kid," Paula Huetger of Bensalem said.

"A big loss," family friend Eddie Finley said.

When asked was it was it hard being inside?

Finley added, "It was, very solemn. It's a tragedy, an unexpected one."

Investigators unearthed the 21- year-old's body, along with three other young men, who were murdered and buried on suspected killer, Cosmo DiNardo's family farm.

Police say DiNardo - lured the four victims on separate occasions to the property to sell them drugs.

"This doesn't make sense whatsoever at all," said Huetger.

"He was always just a good kid. I saw him recently. He had a lot of friends, he was a good kid, worked hard," Finley said.

"I just feel bad for my friend Joan. That's her grandson. You shouldn't lose any of your children," family friend Barbara Sharer said.

Meo's girlfriend posted a video tribute on her Facebook,remembering the 21-year-old as "loyal and understanding."

"Just a great young man, it just doesn't seem real," O'Toole said.

Meo's funeral is Thursday at 10 a.m.
