It was gasoline, not water, leaking in Claymont, Delaware Wednesday night.

The fuel ran down the road into the sewer near Philadelphia Pike and Wiltshire Road.

Environmental authorities responded.

Businesses were temporarily evacuated, and police shut down Philadelphia Pike.

The tanker was carrying 8-thousand gallons of gas, but authorities don't know how much got out.
