Celebrating local emerging artists

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- The annual "Ladybug Festival" kicked off in Wilmington a short time ago.

It is a celebration of women in music.

Back in 2012, Gable Music Ventures saw an opportunity to create an event that would be free for everyone to attend and would include entirely local emerging artists.

It runs until 9:30 Thursday night and again Friday from 5 to 9:30.
