Gunfire leaves man wounded in Germantown section of Philadelphia

GERMANTOWN (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting that left a man injured early Saturday morning.

The incident occurred just after midnight Saturday.

A 21-year old was shot in the stomach while he was on East Bringhurst Street, just off Germantown Avenue.

The man was taken to the hospital by police and is in stable condition.

Investigators are working to determine who shot the man and why.
