Lucy the elephant celebrates 136th birthday

MARGATE, N.J. (WPVI) -- A Jersey Shore icon celebrated a big birthday today.

Lucy the elephant turned 136 years old.

There was a carnival complete with rides and games for prizes.

The big bash also offered a raffle for a trip to New York City.

The proceeds from the raffle will be used to keep Lucy around for many years to come.
