UWCHLAN TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A standoff situation involving police in Uwchlan Township, Chester County has ended peacefully.

Authorities tell Action News the situation was declared under control shortly after 11 a.m. Wednesday.

No further details were released.

The incident was first reported at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday at a home in the 1000 block of Welsh Ayers Way.

Video from Chopper 6 HD showed a large armored police vehicle outside a home.

Several officers dressed in SWAT gear were crouching behind the vehicle and appeared to be talking with someone on the second floor.

There were no reports of injuries.
