Tractor-trailer carrying scrap metal crashes in Chester Co.

CALN TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A major road in Chester County had to be shut down after a tractor trailer carrying scrap metal overturned Wednesday morning.

It happened in Caln Township, just before 11 a.m. on Route 322 between the Route 30 bypass and Edges Mill Road.

The crash caused quite a mess.

Crews had to bring in heavy equipment to "right" the vehicle.

The road finally reopened before 1:30 this afternoon.
