Mayor Kenney student meet and greet

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- The mayor of Philadelphia spent Friday afternoon with scores of 8th grade children, as part of a summer career day program.

The Philadelphia youth network sponsored this meet and greet, here at the mayor's reception room.

These rising 8th graders were selected to be part of this career exposure program, and following a tour of city hall, they got the chance to talk to Mayor Kenney about his political career.

The Mayor in turn imparted a bit of advice to his young visitors, make the most of every encounter like this one.
