One person dead after traffic incident in Kensington

KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- One person is dead after a traffic incident Friday night in Philadelphia's Kensington section.

It happened shortly before 10:30 p.m. at E Street and Allegheny Avenue.

Reports indicate a 36-year-old male pedestrian was trapped beneath a car after being struck and killed.

The driver of the car stayed at the scene.

So far no word on any charges.
