Victim critical after playground shooting in Olney

OLNEY (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting at a playground in the city's Olney section.

The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning at the John L. Barrett Playground on the 700 block of Duncannon Street.

Police say a 23-year-old man was shot in the right hip.

The man was rushed to Einstein Hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.

There has been no word on any suspects or arrests.
