WILMINGTON (WPVI) -- Crews were called to an underground fire in Wilmington.

Contractors working in the 600 block of Market Street may have struck an electrical cable touching off the fire, officials say.

Smoke started coming from manhole covers shortly before 11 a.m. Wednesday.

It wasn't long before firefighters and Delmarva Power were on the scene.

No one was hurt. Market Street was closed and power was shut down to the area.
