Police chase ends in rollover crash in Chester, Pa.

CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- A police chase ended in a crash early Friday in Chester, Delaware County.

Action News is told it began before 2 a.m. at 9th and Engle streets, when police say a motorist committed a traffic violation.

Officers pursued the vehicle after it failed to stop.

The chase ended several blocks later when the driver hit a curb and the vehicle overturned.

One person inside the vehicle fled.

The other was taken to Crozer Chester Medical Center in stable condition.

An investigation into the incident continues.
