NJ Turnpike crash: Karen Rogers reports during Action News at 8:25 a.m. on August 30, 2017.

RUNNEMEDE, N.J. (WPVI) -- A crash involving an overturned tractor-trailer carrying a load of lumber caused some travel headaches for motorists on the New Jersey Turnpike in Runnemede.

It happened at 7:33 a.m. Wednesday on one of Exit 3 off-ramps leading from the turnpike to Route 168 (Black Horse Pike).

Video from Chopper 6 HD showed a flatbed tractor-trailer lying on its side, its load of lumber spilled onto a grassy area adjacent to the ramp.

Both the travel lane and the shoulder of the off-ramp were blocked as crews worked to right the big rig and clear the debris.

There were no immediate reports of injuries.

The ramp was reopened after the truck was righted and removed.
