Cops, Kids and Cones

VINELAND, N.J. (WPVI) -- Kids enjoyed sweet, ice cold treats in south Jersey Wednesday, courtesy of the Cumberland County prosecutor's office.

This is "Cops, Kids and Cones" community policing initiative was held at the Chestnut Square Apartments in Vineland.

Ice cream, water ice and other sweet treats were given out to the kids, for free, plus beach balls!

The events were made possible with grants in honor of police officer Matthew Tarentino, who died in a car crash in May.
