Made In America Music Festival kicks off Saturday. Jeff Chirico reports during Action News at 5 p.m. on September 1, 2017.

It's almost time for a Labor Day tradition in Philadelphia, and the stage is set for this year's Made In America festival on the Ben Franklin Parkway.

The festival begins tomorrow but road closures are already tying up traffic in Center City, Philadelphia.

The inner lanes of the Parkway stopped at Logan's Circle - the outer lanes stopped from 20th to Eakins Oval.

Action News found city crews setting up barriers Friday for the two day festival.

Some 55,000 people are expected to attend each day to see headliners Like rapper J Cole, The Chain Smokers and festival founder and rapper Jay-Z.

This is the 6th year for Made In America. And if you're traveling around the parkway you should expect traffic troubles, but the mayor's office says other areas will be accessible and they encourage visitors to come on in.

The festival starts each day at 1 p.m.

The road closures will continue through Monday morning at 5 a.m.
