2 men shot, wounded outside Juniata nightclub

JUNIATA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police say two men where shot and wounded outside a club in the Juniata section.

The shooting happened shortly before 3 a.m. at the VIP Nightclub in the 3500 block of I Street.

Police say the two victims were in a car when the gunman opened fire.

The driver, a 21-year-old man, was shot in the face and is in critical condition.

The other man, a 26-year-old, was hit in the back. He was taken to the hospital by private auto.

There was no word on a description of the suspect.
