Alicia Vitarelli checks out American Idol auditions

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WPVI) -- American Idol is back, and it's on the road in the search for the superstar.

Auditions are taking place in 19 cities across the nation.

Idol is returning to television on ABC next year with host Ryan Seacrest.

Alicia Vitarelli was in Annapolis, Maryland where Idol hopefuls were getting the chance to audition.
