This will probably be music to the ears of kids in high school.

There's now more support for pushing the school start time back. A new report says it would give a major boost to the economy. That's on top of the health benefits.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends high schools start no earlier than 8:30 a.m.

That helps compensate for when a teenager's body clock starts to shift later.

Many schools say it would be too expensive to reschedule buses.

But a new study from the RAND Corporation says overall it would lead to better academic performance and fewer car accidents.

And they say the economic gains would be more than $80-billion within a decade.
