HAVERFORD TWP., Pa. -- A man already accused of having fired shots at a group in Philadelphia has been arraigned on first-degree murder and other charges in a slaying less than an hour later in Delaware County.

Twenty-four-year-old Derrick Rollins is also charged with aggravated assault, robbery and firearms crimes in the July 29 slaying of 29-year-old John Le in Haverford Township.

Watch the report from Action News at 4 p.m. on August 22, 2017.

Delaware County District Attorney Jack Whelan told reporters Wednesday that authorities "cannot even begin to imagine" the reason for the killing of Le, who was on his way to a friend's house.

Philadelphia authorities allege that Rollins earlier fired 17 shots in Overbrook Park, injuring two men. He was arrested last month in Georgia.

Rollins said little during his brief court appearance Wednesday. Court documents don't list an attorney representing him.
