FREE PET ADOPTIONS
If you have room in your heart, and in your home, there are free pet adoptions happening Friday, September 8th at Pennsylvania SPCA shelters.
The North Shore Animal League and Zappos are teaming up for a "Friends On Us Fridays" event.
You can head to the Fishtown location until 7 p.m, Friday or the Erie Avenue location until 8 p.m, Friday.
There is no cost to take home a dog, cat, puppy or kitten.
If you can't make it there this Friday, there's another one on September 22nd in Ewing Township, Mercer County.

FREE DOG FESTIVAL
Speaking of pets, Saturday, September 8th is Allentown's 6th annual Woofstock.
From noon to 5 p.m. at Cedar Beach Park, it's all about the pups.
There will be free games and contests, like parent and pet look-a-like, information booths, music, food, and fun for the whole family.
