Big boost for the New Leaf Club

ROSEMONT, Pa. (WPVI) -- A non-profit community center on the main line, got a big financial boost Wednesday, thanks to the kindness of strangers.

The New Leaf Club, in Rosement, is dedicated to helping teenagers overcome problems, like chemical dependency and depression.

Local residents presented a check for $28,000 dollars to the club.

The money was raised as part of community service project called Next Level, which used social media to raise funds.

In a span of a month, this was the end result, a big donation that will ensure the future the New Leaf club's future.
