NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The body of a still-born baby was discovered Sunday afternoon in the city's Rhawnhurst section.

Philadelphia police were called to the 7800 block of Summerdale Avenue around 4:30 p.m. after a 9-1-1 call saying a woman gave birth to a still-born baby.

Medics arrived on scene and discovered the body was left inside a trash bag in the kitchen and may have been born on Wednesday.

No arrests have been made as the investigation continues.
