STRAWBERRY MANSION (WPVI) -- One person was killed and two others, including a 17-year-old, were injured after gunfire struck a group of people in the Strawberry Mansion section of Philadelphia.

Police were called around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday to the 2500 block of North Dover Street for the report of a shooting.

Arriving officers found three victims with gunshot wounds.

Police said a 24-year-old man was shot in the head. He was unresponsive and was pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital.

The 17-year-old was shot six times. He suffered wounds to both legs, both arms, in the hip and torso. He is in stable condition.

Another 24-year-old who was shot in the leg is in stable condition.

Police say the shooter may have used two semi-automatic guns.

"Due to the fact that he was hit so many times throughout his body, it appears that he was more than likely an intended target," Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said.

Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross told Action News authorities need help with tips. A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
