Fire displaces family in Wynnefield

WYNNEFIELD (WPVI) -- A fire displaced a family from their home in the Wynnefield section of Philadelphia.

The fire started just before 3:30 a.m. Monday on the 2700 block of 47th Street.

Smoke was showing on the first and second floors when firefighters arrived.

Crews worked to get the fire under control.

Everyone inside was able to get out safely

The Red Cross was called to the scene to assist the family.
