A woman in the Netherlands is using social media as her very public platform to call out catcallers.
She says the idea here is to expose sexism -- one selfie at a time.
Noa Jansma, a college student, created an Instagram called dear catcallers.
She spent a month taking selfies with men she says were catcalling her. Then she outed them.
From whistles to requests for kisses, the 20-year-old says this about creating awareness about the objectification of women in daily life.
Jansma says some were proud to be part of her pictures even though she assures them --- catcalls are NOT compliments -- and neither is her account calling them to light.
